Mr. James “Jim” Anderson, 91 of Madison passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 after suffering many years from Parkinson’s Disease. Private services were held for the family on Saturday, July 25, 2020 with Randy Jones officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was a Lincoln High School and University of Alabama graduate. He served as a medic in the Korean War and worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Ohio and Alabama for 30 years as a manager of Quality Control. He was also a member of Broad Street Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruby Nell Holt Anderson; sister, Margaret Farrow; daughter, Linda (Randy) Jones; son, James Robert (Carrie) Anderson; grandchildren, Laura Anderson, Julie Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Austin Jones; son-in-law, Jonathan Macy. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Anderson Macy; parents, Edward and Lessie Mazy Anderson; brother, Edward Anderson, Jr., Philip Anderson.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broad Street Church of Christ.
