Carmen “Sonny” E. McCrary, Jr., 72 of Stevenson passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020. Memorial services were held at Rudder Family Funeral Home in Stevenson on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
He was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1947 to Carmen, Sr. and Nancy Bo McCrary and was a graduate of Stevenson High School Class of 1965, later attending the University of Alabama. He later served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era and spent his professional career as a lead inspector in airports throughout the world. Sonny was an avid Alabama football fan, motorcycle enthusiast and lover of chocolate.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan, Logan, Taylor McCrary; daughter-in-law, Kirstin; grandchildren, Collin and Kyleigh McCrary who he loved unconditionally.
