Ruth Helen Jenkins was born to the late Katherine “Jab” and Sally Jenkins in Scottsboro on Monday, September 10, 1951. Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
She received Christ at an early age and was a member of Church of Christ, Scottsboro, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred and Bobbie Jenkins; sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Betty Jenkins, Virginia Horton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Tasha Jenkins; sisters, Dorothy (Columbus) McGlathery, Sharon (Lawrence) Stanley; grandchildren, Craig (Amber) Jenkins, Justin (Makayla) Jenkins, Akeem (Dezeray) Hill, Rafael Green (Haley Brown), Tashawn Green and Rashawnda Green (Eddie Eiden); six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend, Evelyn Dillard.
