Mr. Will “Bodie” Monroe Swafford, 72 of Skyline passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home with Bro. Jody Bell officiating.
Mr. Swafford was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Scottsboro and was retired from Gilbert Lumber Company.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Swafford; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Billie Swafford; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Bruce Shockley, Danell and James Baxley; grandson, Cody Shockley; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Demple Swafford; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Swafford was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Estell Swafford; sisters, Carolyn Golden, Mabel Bostick.
