Stella Beatrice Harris

Stella Beatrice Harris, 57 of Scottsboro passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at her son’s residence in Chelsea.
She was born on Tuesday, August 21, 1962 in Scottsboro to the late Charles Henry Harris, Sr. and Rose Ann Clay Harris. She graduated in 1980 from Scottsboro High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Alabama Agriculture and Mechanical University in Huntsville. She worked with the Scottsboro Child and Development Center until closing and served at Nelson Headstart until her health began to fail. Stella professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of Greater Saint Paul A.M.E. Church.
She is survived by her children, Dexter (Magan) Harris, Marquisia (Clarence) Harris, Gabrielle (Dejuan) Harris; grandchildren, Rian Lankford, Alessandra Harris, Kyla Harris, Kamdynn Lankford, Karmen Harris, Avery Harris, Easton Harris, Kahlee Lankford; sister, Pamela (Andre) Williamson; brother, Wendell Eugene Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents; siblings, Charles Henry Harris, Jr., Jacqueline Harris.
