Doran Patton Roberts, age 89, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. Graveside services were held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from the Stevenson City Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Doris Marie Britton Roberts; children, Lisa (Kenny) Knight and Brian Roberts; grandchildren, Adam Knight, Jacob (Alyssa) Knight, Lauren (Jody) Metrolis, Lindsey Roberts and Kristian Roberts; brother, Jerry Roberts; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents, Joda Frankin and Florence Wilkerson Roberts; and siblings, Elbert Roberts, MacAuthur Roberts, and Josephine (Jake) Elliott.
Doran was employed by Shaw Industries for 28 years in the roles of supervisor and assistant plant manager.
