Paving may impact traffic near Caldwell

On Sunday afternoon, the Scottsboro Board of Education announced that it was made aware of paving projects anticipated to begin this week near Caldwell Elementary School.
Paving is expected to be completed by Friday, March 7, if there are no delays due to issues such as weather.

Paving is anticipated to begin after 8 a.m. this week and crews have been made aware of Caldwell Elementary School’s dismissal schedule. The contractor will coordinate with the City of Scottsboro and Caldwell School to try to minimize disruptions during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up
The Scottsboro Board of Education is hopeful that there will be minimal disruptions to arrival and dismissal times. However, parents who pick up their children in the car rider line should expect delays.

The streets expected to be resurfaced include Ashmore Lane, Hamlin Street, Market Street, Scott Street and Hayes Street.
