Mrs. Lorene Morgan Gentle, 99 of Scottsboro passed away Monday, March 23, 2020. Private graveside services were held for the family. Mrs. Gentle was a member of the Limrock United Methodist Church for 65 years.
Lorene was born on Saturday, February 19, 1921 to Isaac Marion and Lela Baggett Morgan. She is survived by her children, Jane Rhodes (Gleeman), Achl F. Gentle, Jr. (Jo), Sam Gentle (Janet); 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Lela; husband, Achl Gentle, Sr.; sister, Stella Hancock; twin sister, Pauline Cruce; brother, Odes Morgan.
