Rev. Carl Adkins, age 91 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brett Hogland officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Adkins is survived by wife, Ramona “Sparkle” Adkins; son, Venson (Sharon) Adkins; daughters, Taletha Adkins, Carla Adkins, Becky (Brian), sister in-law, Ann Adkins; 13 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Adkins and Ethel Adkins; brothers, Delbert Adkins, Hubert “Duck” Adkins and Bobby Adkins; sister, Geraldine Harrah; and daughter, Kay Adkins Bohannon.
