James Talkington, age 69 of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Funeral service were held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Grady Cornelison and Bro. Darrin McCloud officiated. Interment followed in the Boxes Cove Cemetery.
Mr. Talkington is survived by his special fur baby, Rebecca; sisters, Christine (Von) Dulaney and Mary Ruth Yon; brother, Charles Talkington; nephews, Ricky (Jessica) Talkington, Derrick (Amanda) Yon; as well as several great nephews and nieces.
Mr. Talkington was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruthie Talkington; brothers, Billy Ray Talkington, William Talkington; and niece, Angel Talkington.
