Edna “Darlene” Laws, age 75 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Funeral services were held on January 25, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Mrs. Laws is survived by her husband John C. Laws, Jr., sister, Charlotte (James) Mount; daughters, Crystal Laws and Cheryl (Joe) Moran; and granddaughter, Aundrea Callaway; great granddaughter, Aubree Callaway; nephews, Patrick (Jessica) Mount and Dustin Mount; great nephews, Krager, Preston, Peyton, and Paxton Mount; great nieces, Alyssa and Aubree Mount.
Mrs. Laws was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Clark Batey and Aubrey “Dude” Batey.
Darlene loved Alabama football and the group Alabama. She enjoyed music, art, bowling, candles, church, cars, specifically Corvettes, and visiting with friends. She especially enjoyed her conversations with her long time friend Dot Bolton. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She was full of life and possessed an incredible personality.
