James Leroy Hicks, age 94 of Pisgah, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 28, 2024 from the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Peggy Hicks; daughters, Teresa Hicks Cuthbertson and Amanda Hicks Brown; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and special friend, Donald Corbitt.
Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his father, James McCord Hicks; mother, Birt Martin Hicks; brother, Leonard Hicks; sisters, Lucille Hicks Gray and Cordelia Hicks Mitchell; niece, Betty Jean Gray Bekk ; and nephew, Lyndon Hicks.
