Annie Potter Wray, age 85 of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brett Hogland officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Wray is survived by her children, Kerry (Cindy) Wray, Kendall (Kathy) Wray, and Karen (Rickey) Whitehead all of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Stephanie Ledwell (Adam Haislip), Robby (Amanda) Webb, Brittany (Chris) Hovanec, and Matthew (Julia) Whitehead; great-grandchildren, Madison Fletcher, Colin Ledwell, Drayden Doss, Myla Stewart, Nash Hovanec, Landry Hovanec, Wyatt Hovanec, and Shepherd Whitehead; brother, Jr. (Elaine) Potter; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wray was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, William Jr. Wray; daughter, Kathy Wray; parents, Ed and Ruby Potter; sisters, Eunice Bellomy, and Brenda Selvage.
