George Harlon Dodson, age 90 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Cornelison officiated. Interment followed in the Sanders Family Cemetery.
Mr. Dodson is survived by his sons, Calvin (Vanessa) Dodson, Phillip Dodson, and Randy (Betty) Dodson; daughter, Glinda Sue (Terry) Fisher; grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth, Tracy, Keith, Timothy, Samantha, George, Jr., Kaitlyn, and Dennis; sister, Edith Dong; and a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Dodson was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Dodson and parents, Charley and Ruby Dodson.
He was a member of Goose Pond Church of God.
