Geneva Campbell, age 90 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lacy Smith officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her son, Herbert Evans, Jr.; daughters, Vanessa (Gary) Fomby, Deborah (Douglas) Williams; grandchildren, Kellie (Tristan) Sexton, Gabriel Fomby; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Evans, Sr.; husband, Lawrence Roosevelt Campbell; grandson, James Staton, Jr.; parents, Charlie Poe and Bell Zora Poe; siblings, Iletha (Sidney) Johnson, Mary Ruth McDonald, Vergie Choice, Mildred Johnson, Glenn Poe, Edward Earl Poe, Jim Poe and Clay C. Poe.
