Mountain Lakes Chamber accepting Board of Director nominations

The Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the Chamber Board of Directors.
According to the bylaws, Article V | Section 1b:
“(b) Nominations of Candidates for Board of Directors
Not less than 90 days before the end of the fiscal year, the Chamber shall advertise that the Chamber is accepting nominations for the Board of Directors. Nominations may be made by Chamber members in good standing.
(c) Election – The Chairman shall determine the eligibility of each nominee to serve as a director in accordance with the Articles of Incorporation and these Bylaws. The Board of Directors shall then vote on the new board members at the last board meeting of the year, usually December.”
Nominations must be dropped off at the Mountain Lakes Chamber, 407 East Willow Street, Scottsboro no later than noon on Friday, November 1st, 2024, in a sealed envelope.
