“Trey” Charles Newton Nelson, III, age 33, passed away recently. Funeral services were held on September 18, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Pete Hess officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Nelson is survived by his mother, Alisa Holt Nelson; brother, Andrew Britt (Kelsie) Nelson; nieces, Mary Harper Nelson and Palmer Reese Nelson; and uncle, Scott (Chantel) Nelson.
Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his father, Charles Nelson, Jr.; grandparents, Charles “Buck” Holt, Mary Sue Holt, Charles Nelson, Sr. and Julia Raulston Nelson; and uncle, Grady Whisenant.
