Blanche Pearl Horton, age 88 of Scottsboro, passed away on September 8, 2024. Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Horton is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Marshall) Harris; son, Gregory Horton; daughter in law, Vickie Horton; granddaughters, Sherita Sanford, Elizabeth (Lemuel) Lewis, Lori Horton, Crystal Horton and Kchristynia Allen; grandsons, Michael Green, Mikhael (Tre’) Horton, DeCarlo Davis, Ivan Horton, Bryan Horton, Jimmy Hendrix and Jonathan Poe; twenty one great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelia Stewart and Jonah Stewart; husband, Lewis William “L.W.” Horton; sister, Ruby Garner; son, Michael Horton; as well as an infant great granddaughter.
