Christmas Charities now taking applications

Christmas Charities of Jackson County is taking applications for 2024. Applicants should bring the following items: Photo ID, social security cards for everyone in household, proof of food stamps by statement, current pay stub, and current utility bill with head of household’s name.

Income limits are as follows:
Household Size Income – Limit
1 – $1,580
2 – $2,137
3 – $2,694
4 – $3,250
5 – $3,807
6 – $4,364
7 – $4,921
8 – $5,478
Add $557 for each additional household member.

Applicants should apply at the center nearest their home on the specified date:
• Dutton Town Hall/Library on Wednesday, September 18 and Thursday September 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Flat Rock/NSM/Bryant on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 19-21 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Community Full Gospel, County Rd. 14, Flat Rock.
• Pisgah/Rosalie Wednesday, September 18 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Pisgah Baptist Church and September 19 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Rosalie Community Center.
• Scottsboro/Hollywood/Woodville/Paint Rock Valley/Langston/Skyline at Jackson County DHR now through September 20 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily.
• Section/Macedonia on Thursday September 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Section Town Hall.
• Stevenson/Fackler at Michael Scott Learning Center, Thursday, September 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

There will be no makeup days held.
