Jimmy Ray Thompson, age 86 of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. A graveside service was held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Cornelison officiated.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Frances Thompson; son, Brad Thompson; daughter in law, Pam Thompson; grandchildren, Zac Thompson, Nick (Amber) Thompson, Melissa (Jeffery) Ward, Melinda Gibbard, Braden (Cherry) Thompson, Cody (Danielle) Thompson and Caitlin Snyder; a host of great grandchildren; sister, Stella (J.D.) Atkins; brother, David (Nora) Thompson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his sons, Randy Thompson and Darin Thompson; parents, Noah Thompson and Inez Thompson; as well as several brothers and sisters.
