Leslie Thackerson, age 77 of Hytop, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from the Hytop Holiness Church. Bro. James “Totchie” McLain and Bro. Todd Davis officiated. Interment followed in the Hytop Cemetery.
Mr. Thackerson is survived by his wife, Vivian Thackerson; daughters, Tammy (Steve) Hambrick and Tara Thackerson; granddaughters, Kyndal Crump and Kylie Thackerson (Colton) Evans; sister, Mary (Bill) Cagle; brother, Levon (Lisa) Thackerson; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Mr. Thackerson was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Thackerson and Edith Thackerson; sisters, Novella Elliott, Vergie Dean and Doretha Bailey; brothers, Gene Thackerson, Wendall Thackerson and Alford Thackerson.
