John “Mickey” Holt, age 66 of Estillfork, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from the Grays Chapel. Roy “Chopper Miller and Paul Gilliam officiated. Interment followed in the Crawford’s Cemetery.
Mr. Holt is survived by his best friend and life partner, Cindy Dolberry; sisters, Ruby Joe (Willard) McCullough, Doris (Tom) Swafford and Sharon McGuffey; his beloved dog, Slim Shady; several nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Holt and Ruby E. Holt; and brothers, Robert Holt, Donald Holt, Rickey Holt and Jerry Holt.
