Robert E. Esslinger, age 90 of Scottsboro, passed away on August 10, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Pastor Seth Stone who is Mr. Esslinger’s grandson , along with Dr. Gary Speers officiated. A private graveside service at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens followed.
Mr. Esslinger is survived by his wife, Lois Esslinger; sons, Fred (Sheri) Esslinger, Jeffery Esslinger, Darryl Miller and Aaron Miller Esslinger; daughters, Christine (Ken) White, Donna (Ellis) Summers, Carla Miller (Marty) Stone; sister, Kathy Lorene (Gene) Barker; as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Esslinger was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Esslinger; father, William Esslinger; four brothers; five sisters; and one son, Michael.
