Louis Chance, age 76 of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Shirley Byrum, Bro. Jim “Totchie” McClain and Rev. Michael Clark officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Chance is survived by his daughter in law, Leslie Chance; brother, Kenny (Pat) Chance; grandchildren, Blake (Ashlyn) Chance, Allison Chance, Ashley Chance, Brooke Chance and Corey (Mahaylie) Chance; great grandchildren, Beckett Chance, Tucker Chance, Lincoln Chance, Kaylynn Chance and Flynn Chance.
Mr. Chance was preceded in death by his wife, Vernie Mae Chance; sons, Robbie Chance and Randy Chance; daughter in law, Shirley Chance; parents, Paul Chance and Pearl Chance; brother, George Chance; and sister, Paulette Mobley.
