It’s no secret its hot the water temp is up, and the fish lack oxygen making there aggressiveness slow and bites are at a premium. Sure, there is bites, but you can’t miss your opportunities, be patient, precise and make every opportunity count.
Slow your presentation down, use small profile baits and you will be successful.
Baits are very typical, SPRO pop-r’s, Missile Bait 48 stick baits, Duckett small profile war eagle spinner baits are what we have been successful on this past week. Target grass where there is a void on top and work your baits slowly and look for bait fish has been the key most of the week.
