Mildred Lorena Sneed, age 90 of Winder, Georgia, formerly of Woodville, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Edward Harbin and Rev. Alan Crawford officiated. Interment followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Mrs. Sneed is survived by her children, Reuben Sneed, John (Patricia) Sneed, Louise (John) Dempsey, Allen (Kay) Sneed, Betty (John) Ashworth; grandchildren, Joy (Mark) Fields, Samuel (Rachel) Sneed, Sarah (Bryan) Baker, Michael (Brandie) Caldwell, Lori Nichols, Julie (Mike) Randall, Alyssa Dempsey, Jeffrey (Crystal) Sneed, Breana Barnett, Warner (Rachel) Ashworth, Daniel Ashworth, Toya (Dex) Scudgins; sister, Betty Hyatt; twenty five great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sneed was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sneed; parents, Georg Barron and Margie Barron; brother, George Barron; sister, Mary Evett; and grandson, Justin Sneed.
