Joshua Allen “Pelon” Barnes, age 50 of Grant, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from the Grant Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Barnes is survived by his parents, Jennifer (Bill) Alcorn and John Barnes; daughters, Ellen Barnes and Taylor Barnes; brothers, Daniel Sutphin and Samuel (Dr. Kim) Wright; sister, Katie Erwin; niece, Addison Fuller; nephews, Jonah Fuller and Forrest Sutphin; cousins, Elizabeth Dismer and Ben Dismer; as well as a host of friends.
Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathleen Sinden and Howard Sinden; and aunt, Gretchen Dismer.
