David Earle Ayers, age 85 of Grant, passed away on July 16, 2024. Funeral services were held on July 20, 2024 from the Grant Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Ayers is survived by his wife, Peggy Keel Ayers; daughter, Angie Ayers (Gerry) Meadows; grandchildren, Allen Ayers, Ashley Meadows (Chris) Weems, Brentley Ayers (Cody) Webb, Alex Meadows, LaShonda Smith; and eight great grandchildren.
Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by his son, Bentley Ayers; parents, Emmett Ayers and Mary Case Ayers; siblings, Bernice Ledbetter, Ola Wright, Aline Schutz, Ruby Burrell, Edward Ayers, Emmett Ayers, Sherman Ayers, Roland Ayers, Lila Kate Lucille Ayers and Mary Jean Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
