Moses seeks election

John Moses recently announced his intent to run for Mayor of Scottsboro.
Moses’ announcement stated, “My name is John Moses and I’m seeking office for Mayor of Scottsboro. I’ve worked for the city of Scottsboro for 30 years in the building department, the last 10 as chief building inspector. My interest in running for mayor is to try and keep our city moving forward by working on growth and inviting more business to come here, while encouraging local businesses. I’m not the guy to make a lot of promises. I am the guy that can work with people. We have a good council, and I know that we could work together. I do have a few things on my mind that I would like to discuss with the city council. I would like to work on a long range plan for our city. I love Scottsboro and would love to serve its citizens. I would appreciate your vote on August 27th for Mayor of Scottsboro.”
