Lauren Parker has announced her intent to seek election to the Scottsboro Board of Education, Place 1.
In her announcement Parker stated, “Hello, everyone! My name is Lauren Parker and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Scottsboro Board of Education, Place 1. I am a dedicated wife to my husband, Tyler, and proud mother of seven children: Porter, Aly, Cheyenne, Huddy, Jackson, Hudson Cole and Olivia. Currently, I focus on managing our lively household and supporting my children in their various activities, from games and practices to church.
Throughout my life, I have held a deep commitment to education, particularly with my own children. Now, I am eager to extend that passion to ensuring every child in Scottsboro receives the best education in the safest environment possible. My admiration for teachers and my care for children drive my campaign. I am determined to prioritize both our educators, who play a crucial role in shaping young minds, and the students, who deserve every opportunity to thrive academically.
If elected, I pledge to advocate tirelessly for policies that promote excellence in education, support our teachers, and enhance the educational experience for all students. Together, we can build a brighter future for Scottsboro’s next generation.”
