William Arthur Sims, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Joe David Moore officiated. Interment followed at the Free Home Cemetery.
Mr. Sims is survived by his children, Billy (Amanda) Sims, Jr., Calvin Sims, Renae Sims, Michael (Melissa) Sims; grandchildren, Amanda Sims, Tommie Sims, Billy Sims, III, George Sims, Emma Sims; brother, JW (Jewel) Sims; and beloved pets, Brownie and Hershey.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Pace Sims; parents, Tommy Sims and Elsie Sims; and brother, Lloyd Sims.
