Lewis Wyman Carter, age 55 of Paint Rock Valley, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Floyd Wilson and Rev. Scottie Webb officiated. Interment followed in the Latham Cemetery.
Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Cynthia Hardy Carter; daughter, Kelsy Carter; son, Joshua (Chaselyn) Carter; mother, Charlotte Carter; brothers and sisters, Joseph Keith (Katie) Carter, Cheryl (Rodney) Dodson, Gregory Carter, Kim (Mike) Brock, Stephanie Carter, Christy Carter Ricco and Shannon (Joy) Carter; grandchildren, Kobie, Easton, and expected in August, Cash; aunt, Kathy Lindsey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Carter; brother, Scott Carter; uncle, Billy Lindsey; grandparents, Vera Lindsey and Dwain Lindsey, Annie Carter and Wesley Carter.
