Josephine McCarver Blizzard, age 83 of Fackler, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Funeral services were held on Thursday May 30, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. David Talley and Bro. David Hill officiated. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Blizzard is survived by her daughter, Linda Garner Owens; sons, Wade (Tammy) Garner, Bobby (Tara) Garner and Brian (Becca) Blizzard; grandchildren, Silas Owens, Ali (Jacob) Blevins, Nicklas Owens, Abbie Garner, Morgan (Alex) Browder, Kenli Garner, Jamie Hunnicut, Sarah Kate Garner, Hannah Blizzard, Kacy King, Kassidy Cunningham and Emma Cunningham; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Blizzard was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Garner and Floyd Blizzard; father, Dewey McCarver, Sr.; mother, Edna McCarver; sister, Betty Brooks; and brothers, Buren “Pete” McCarver, Campbell “Cam” McCarver, Paul David McCarver, Billy Joe “Gib” McCarver, Donald “Duck” McCarver and Dewey McCarver.
