Mr. Charles William Tubbs, age 84 of Section, Alabama passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Crossville Health & Rehab.  He was a former Chief of the Section Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Tubbs; sisters, Phyllis Jordan and Marie Tubbs; brother, David Tubbs; like their children, Cindy and Steve Stewart and Steven McKenzie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Section Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Hullet officiating.
