Sherrell McCain Wilborn, age 80 of Section, passed away on May 5, 2024. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from the Section Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Haigwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilborn is survived by her daughter, Jana (Chubby) Pope; daughter in law, Jerolyn Wilborn; grandchildren, Keesha (Aaron) Lyons, Jerrica Pope, Jerred (Rebecca) Pope, Jason Wilborn and Brandi Waterhouse; great grandchildren, Ada Marie Lyons, Kayleigh Lions and Canaan Lyons; brother and sister in law, Bob (Burma) McCain; special friend, Barry Fowler; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wilborn was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Wilborn; son, Timothy Wilborn; granddaughter, Sarah Wilborn Cormier; parents, Flora McCain and Joe Tom McCain; and brothers, Don McCain and Terry McCain.
