Patsy “Pat” Sue Thompson McCoy, age 68 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 6, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Cornelison officiated. Interment followed in the Zion Rest Cemetery.
Mrs. McCoy is survived by her daughter, Chasity (Gary) Perkins; grandchildren, Gage McCoy, Jared Perkins, Patrick Perkins and Jade Perkins; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Hunter and Tucker; sister, Stella (JD) Atkins; brothers, David (Nora) Thompson and Jimmy (Frances) Thompson; brothers and sisters in law, Roger (Joy) Talley, Jeremy Talley, Paula Swails and Audrey (Buddy) Smith; granddaughter in heart, Kara Thrower; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McCoy was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis McCoy; parents, Noah Thompson and Inez Thompson; siblings, Beatrice Thompson, Cledith Thompson, Edward Thompson, Louise Traylor, Marvin Thompson, James Thompson, Earl Thompson and Pearl Thompson.
