Rita Carol Ellison, age 66 of Scottsboro, passed away on March 22, 2024. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Ellison is survived by her husband, Michael Wann Ellison; daughters, Dianna and Michelle; son, Michael Jr.; grandsons, Raheem (Kellie) Steward, Jamal Steward, Trey Lewis, Micale Fennell; great grandchildren, Axton Steward, Makari Fennell, Allison Brynn Steward; sisters, Debra Howard, Ann Nobles and Queenie Jones; brothers, Anthony (Sam) Bibbs and Glenn Looney; aunts, Linda (Johnny) Dillard, Cathy Patrick; sisters in law, Martha Ellison and Alexia Ellison; brother in law, Minister Earl Ellison; as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
