Jimmie Cookston, age 69 of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Funeral services were held on March 10, 2024 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cookston is survived by his wife, Melissa Cookston; sons, Eric (Linda) Cookston, Dubresse Cookston, Jamie Cookston and Cody (Mikayla) Cookston; daughters, Kerry (Josh) McWilliams and Chelsea (Rod) Key; grandchildren, Matthew Cookston, Chase Cookston, Erica (Austin) Moyers, Cadence Key, Kennedy Key, Sawyer McWilliams, Marcus McWilliams, Lottie McWilliams, Anniston Jones and Lane Hargis; great grandchildren, Chance Cookston and Rhiley Moyers.
Mr. Cookston was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Cookston and Gertrude Cookston; brother, Houston Cookston; sisters, Gertie and Nona; and two great grandchildren, Kip Cookston and Motley Cookston.
