Samuel A. Tipton, age 97 of Woodville, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from the Calvary Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Tipton is survived by his daughter, Jona (David R.) Clay; grandchildren, Matthew (Tracie) Pittman, Joshua (Christie) Pittman and Christopher (Kristen) Massengale; great grandchildren, Christian, Blake, Ava, Sam, Avery, Brooklyn and Bryant; great great grandchild, Beau; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tipton was preceded in death by his wife, June Osborne Tipton; son, Bruce Tipton; and parents, William Hunt Tipton and Laura Preston Tipton.
