Walter “Poochie” Eugene Powell, age 76 of Woodville, passed away on January 25, 2024. Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Bro. Danny Stewart and Bro. Phillip Stewart officiated. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Nancy Powell; daughters, Beverly Powell and Misty Powell; son, Anthony Powell; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his parents, R.E. Powell and Florence Edwards Powell; and brother, Robert Powell.
