Robert James Rice, age 93 of Scottsboro, passed away on January 17, 2024. Funeral services were held on January 20, 2024 from the Broad Street Church of Christ. Randy Brown and Mark Casella officiated.
Mr. Rice is survived by his wife, Marjorie Conner Rice; children, Sheryl (Rick) Baird, James Rice, Kimberly (Chris) Stewart; grandchildren, Lee (Ryan) Rice, Kathryn (Dave) Precise, Josh (Wendy) Baird, Meghan (Brent) Cornelison, Ryan (Ursala) Rice, Ann (Mark) Casella and Kelly Stewart; great grandchildren, Jackson Precise, Conner Precise, Annalee Rice, Finn Rice, Laurel Rice, Jacob Baird, Alex Baird, Ally Cornelison, Clay Cornelison, James Cornelison, John Cornelison, Emmett Casella, Henry Casella and Adalee Casella; sister, Judy (William) Miller; brothers, Regis (Charlotte) Rice, Dale (Janet) Rice; and sister in law, Anita Rice.
Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett C. Rice and Gladys E. Kniess Rice; sister, Lois McAlpine; and brothers, Eugene Rice, Donald Rice and Terry Rice.
