Brenda Fortner Burroughs, age 66 of Grant, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from the Grant Memorial Chapel. Bro. Nicky Willmon and Bro. Alton Willmon officiated. Interment followed in the New Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Burroughs is survived by her husband, Mike Burroughs; brother, Don (Connie) Fortner; sisters, Teresa Vaught and Kim (Chris) Preston; nieces and nephews, Kristy (Wayne) Brooks, Kelly (Jonathon) Fortner, Stewart (Sam) Elegans and Justin (Cristina) Vaught; many great nieces and great nephews; as well as a host of extended family, church family and friends.
Mrs. Burroughs was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Fortner and Ruby Wilson Fortner; brother, Tony Fortner; grandparents, Harley Fortner, Burnie Fortner, Odell Wilson and Lilly Mae Wilson; and in laws, Ollie Burroughs and Katherin Burroughs.
