Viola Ruth Shelton Manning, age 97 of Skyline, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Randy Brown officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Manning is survived by her children, Bruce (Darla) Manning, Dale Manning, Bonnie Franklin, Karen Allen and Phillip Manning; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Devonna Manning, Matthew (Emily) Miller, Tyler (Leeann) Miller, Michael Manning, Courtney (Jonathan) Wright, Curtis (Mareena) Manning, Amy Wright, Caden Wright, Lauren (Michael) Cunning, Alyssa Cunningham, Richard (Rachel) Franklin, Samuel Franklin, Elizabeth Franklin, Emily (James) Arnold, Jax Arnold, Grant Arnold, Ashlee (David) Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Gabe Johnson, Eli Johnson, Natalie Wright, Jaylon Trotman, Camden Garner, Chloe Garner and Justin Manning; great great grandchildren, Hope, Sadie, Madeline, Jacob, Daxston, Joshua, Waylon, Judd, Lilah, Josie, Caydence; sister, Doris (Anthony) Waldrop; sister in law, Rhodaphine Shelton.
Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her parents, Noah Shelton, Eva Shelton; husband, George Manning; grandson, Zachary Allen; brothers, Hugh Shelton, Tommy Shelton and Rubert Shelton; and sisters, Louise Tidwell and Annie Webb.
