Lydia Robinson, age 86 of Decatur, Tenn., passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Randall Hastings officiated. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her children, Tammie Cook, Randle Cook, Dana Evett, Wendy Evett, Charles “Chuck” Robinson, Abby Robinson, Carrie Buck and Bradley Buck; son in law, Jim Plemons; her husband’s daughters, Sarah Benz, Jenny Norwood, David Norwood; sister, Joye Geckle; three granddaughters; eight grandsons; seven great grandsons; four great granddaughters; three nephews; and three nieces.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Robinson; parents, Fannie Hastings and Solomon Hastings; son, Billy Anthony Evett; daughter, Renae Dunlap; stepson, Sam Robinson; sisters, Gladys Arnold and Ruth Brownfield; grandparents, George Hastings and Melinda Pace Hastings, E.B. Russell and Lydia Hall Russell.
