Joe Wilbanks, age 77 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed in the Boxes Cove Cemetery.
Mr. Wilbanks is survived by his wife, Margaret Wilbanks; sons, Bobby (Angel) Wilbanks and Bill (Taska) Wilbanks; daughters, Sissy (Jamie) Webster, Shirley (Robbie) Miotke and Melissa (Eric) Willmon; seventeen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; as well as a host of loved ones.
Mr. Wilbanks was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Wilbanks and Stella Wilbanks; brothers, Don Wilbanks and Willis Wilbanks; and sisters, Mattie Gilbert, Bee Dobbs and Dude Ware.
