Nancy Faye Hargiss Patty, age 89 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Funeral services were held on November 11, 2023 from the Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Duaine Griggs and David Patty officiated. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Patty is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hargiss; stepsons, David (Patricia) Patty, Richard (Kathy) Patty; a host of nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends; sisters, Dorothy (Lewis) Cornelison, Bettye Moore; sister in law, Jean Phillips; and caretaker, Rose Mary Webb.
Mrs. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Garner and Ruth Garner; brothers, Robert Garner and Russ Garner; sisters, Shirley Swinford; husband, Charles Hargiss; husband, Clyde Patty; and stepson, Jeff Patty.
