Thomas Newsom, age 80 of Scottsboro, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Marvin Morrow and Earl Ellison officiated. Interment followed in the Clay Cemetery.
Mr. Newsom is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Newsom; daughter, Lora Brewer; son, Gerald (Andrea) Newsom; grandchildren, Devin Newsom, Dylan Newsom, Paige Brewer, Blaine Brewer; sisters, Ann Cranford, Mary Rooks, Naomi Knopps and Evella Heatherington.
