Carol Joan Precise Cassels, age 63 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Bro. Jerry Cornelison and Bro. Jonathan Moore officiated. Interment followed in the Goose Pond Cemetery.
Mrs. Cassels is survived by her husband, Ernest Cassels; daughter, Brandie (Nick) Tucker; son, Kevin (Gail) Cassels; brother, Thomas (Renae) Precise; grandchildren, Collin (Peyton) Chisenall, Addison Tucker, Jaxson Tucker, Kevin Jr. (Ariel) Cassels and Keith (Raine) Cassels; great grandchildren, Ryder Chisenall, Preston Cassels, Renley Cassels, Braxton Cassels and Hazel Mae Cassels; aunt, Mary Jeffery; special cousin, Phyllis Wilson; and Shellie McGaha, whom she thought of as her daughter.
Mrs. Cassels was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Precise and Bessie Jeffery Ferguson; and brother, Phillip Precise.
