Lawrence Randolph Lilly, age 85 of Gurley, passed away on October 17, 2023. Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Hollytree. Lynn Simmons officiated. Interment followed in the Latham Cemetery.
Mr. Lilly is survived by his son, Stephen L. Lilly; daughter, Suzanne Marie (Mark E.) Colbath; granddaughters, Kat Colbath and Dana Rose Lowery; sisters in law, Janice Lilly and Mary (Becky) Putman; brothers in law, Joe Putman and Jessie Putman; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, special family members and friends.
Mr. Lilly was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue; parents, Joseph R. (Rude) and Ardella Lilly; sister, Lola Mae Bitner; brothers, Leo Vernon Lilly, Dean Vincent Lilly, Joseph Raymond Lilly and Arthur (Bud) Lilly; special cousin, Shirley Mac McCool; and grandson, Matthew Andrew Colbath.
