James Michael Grider, age 71 of Scottsboro, passed away on October 15, 2023. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel.
Mr. Grider is survived by his wife, Glenda Manning Grider; daughter, Lori (Starbuck) Laney; grandchildren, Owen, Evan and Nola; sisters, Gayle Maliskey, Rita Pipes, Rita Woosley and Vickie (Spike) Myers; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends.
Mr. Grider was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Grider and Jerusha Grider; brothers, Perry Grider and Hurley Grider; sisters, Mazie Grider, Bessie Banks, Darlene Swing and Billie Johnson; and parent in laws, Cecil Manning and Annie Mae Manning.
